The acoustic canopy helps protect the generating set from the elements while reducing operating noise to approximately 70 dB(A) at 1 metre, or 63 dB(A) at 7 metres. The generator is mounted on a heavy duty fabricated steel base frame, with anti-vibration pads fitted between the engine, alternator, and frame to help isolate vibration and support smooth operation.
For safer and more practical diesel storage, the ED9PYE includes a fully bunded fuel tank compliant with AS 1940-2004, providing secondary containment to help manage spills on site. The unit also includes battery charging support and a control panel with emergency stop functionality.
The standard auto-start control module allows the generator to be started locally or remotely and provides key operating protection and monitoring functions, including generator/load power monitoring, accumulated power monitoring, overload protection, engine speed protection, run-time scheduling, battery voltage monitoring, and static battery charging. It can also be configured to operate with an Automatic Transfer Switch for automatic standby power applications.
